Wind and Waves provides off season property caretaking to you when your home is unoccupied over the winter months.

The property caretaking agreement can be tailored to your specific needs and is charged by the hour.

We encourage you to review your home insurance policy to ensure you are aware of the number of times a month your home should be inspected while vacant. 

You do not have to do short term vacation rentals to use the off season property caretaking service.  Our services are open to all part time residents of the island. 

Wind and Waves can provide:

• Weekly, biweekly, monthly, or when needed home and property inspections
• Property checks after major weather events
• Access to your home for contractors hired by the owner to perform work at the home
• Flood and rain damage checks
• Assistance with pest issues
• Assistance for service requests when the home is occupied 
• Lawnmowing

You will receive a written report and pictures to document each of the inspections. 

Within ten days of the end of the month Wind and Waves will submit an invoice to you for payment.
