Whale Tale is charming one bedroom waterfront cottage located steps from the beach. There is an amazing 600 sq.ft. sundeck with spectacular views of the Georgia Straight. The cottage has many amenities including wifi and the most amazing walk on waterfront for exploring.

Pets are allowed on approval. A $125 pet fee will be added to the cost of the stay.

The cottage is centrally located on Hornby Island and within three kms of easy access to mountain trails, the Community Hall, the Hornby Outdoor Market, the Co-op, the Ringside Market and Tribune Bay Beach.

The owners completely renovated the cottage in the spring of 2012 with new kitchen, bathroom with shower and new flooring. The kitchen has range, microwave, toaster oven, full fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Toilet and shower are separate rooms for your convenience. The huge deck is a perfect place to enjoy the view, watch the kids on the beach, while you cook on the stainless steel BBQ.

The home has a well and a water filter system and a septic system.
